High Profit Prospecting by Mark Hunter is a MUST read if prospecting is part of your role, whether you are in sales or a business owner – then this book is most definately worth a read.
I found this book to be extremely motivating and it had me hooked from the first chapter. This book re-enforces the importance of prospecting and what role it has to play within the sales cycle.
Is Telemarketing DEAD?
If you are like me – and have been bombarded by posts and yet more posts – that Telemarketing is old hat – and Email Marketing, Social Selling and spending hours on end each week in multiple Social Media platforms – is the way forward – then READ THIS NOW. The message here is to work smarter – use these resources to HELP you to use the telephone to prospect. Cold calling is NOT dead, if you do it correctly!
The author addresses these issues without beating about the bush – and whilst these are still an important cog in the wheel of the sales process – it shouldn’t be the only way to generate leads for your sales pipeline.
